Sharjah 24: Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, chaired a meeting at Sharjah Police headquarters, to discuss the procedures of desert safari in Sharjah, ensuring the safety of those who go.
The meeting discussed the safety preparations for desert safari visitors, especially in light of the increase in the tourism movement in Sharjah, stressing the keenness of Sharjah Police to achieve the highest level of security and safety.

several recommendations were discussed during the meeting such as prohibiting the use of motorcycles in residential areas, main roads, or any places that pose a threat to their safety and the safety of others. In addition to not causing noise in residential areas adjacent to the wilderness, and refraining from camping and overnighting in these areas except through a permit issued by the competent authorities in the Emirate.

At the end of the meeting, Brigadier General bin Amer directed all concerned departments to intensify their efforts in addressing any behavior that would disturb the society’s security.
