Sharjah 24: Sharjah Cooperative has received a Saudi delegation from the Dhahran Cooperative Society, with the aim of discussing ways of joint cooperation between both sides, reviewing the experience of the Sharjah Cooperative in the field of retailing, getting acquainted with the modern methods used, and benefiting from its experiences as the first and largest cooperative society in the UAE.
The visiting delegation included Eng. Ali Ayed Al Ajmi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Abdul Aziz Omar Al Ajaji, Treasurer, and members of the Board of Directors, Eng. Salem Rashid Al Marri, and Eng. Ghannam Muhammad Al Dosari.
The delegation was received by Saeed Sultan Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Cooperative, HE Saleh Al Qabed, Member of the Board of Directors, HE Nasser Al Barout, Member of the Board of Directors, and HE Majid Salem Al Junaid, Chief Executive Officer of Sharjah Cooperative.
Commenting on this, His Excellency Majid Salem Al Junaid, CEO of Sharjah Cooperative, expressed his happiness with this visit, pointing out its importance in enhancing prospects for cooperation between the two sides.
Al Junaid introduced the visiting delegation to the experience of Sharjah Cooperative and the gains it achieved over the past years, based on keeping pace with the UAE directions and visions under the rational leadership, the ambitious strategies of providing the highest standards of services to enhance the quality of life and achieve the well-being of individuals.
His Excellency Majid Salem Al Junaid stated that the cooperative is increasing the basis of the pioneering partners with the aim of exchanging experiences and expertise, in line with the developments in the retail sector, praising the desire of the visiting delegation to gain experience and transfer the Emirati experience.
Mr. Ziad Hammami, Executive Director of the Retail Sector, Mr. Faisal Khalid Al Naboodah, Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Mr. Rashid bin Howaiden, Director of the General Trading Company, Mr. Ramzi Moghadmini, Director of Commercial Affairs, and Mr. Hamad Al Matrooshi, Operations Manager, accompanied the delegation on a field visit to Al Rahmania Mall, as one of the most important projects implemented by the cooperative, and a number of cooperative branches to learn about work mechanisms, methods of providing, developing and improving services to shoppers.
Sharjah Cooperation reviewed a number of its current and future projects, as well as an overview of the strategy, goals and future plans, with the aim of exchanging experiences.
