Al Wusta Camel Racing 2 kicks off with solid competitions

Sharjah24: Under the patronage and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Al Wusta Channel Camel Racing Festival, in its 2nd edition, was launched at Al Dhaid Camel Race Course.

According to Saeed Rashid bin Fadel Al Ketbi, Director of Al Wusta Channel, many participants are competing in the Festival, joining from the central region of Sharjah, other emirates, and from other others gulf countries.

Al Ketbi explained, in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", that the competitions will be on March 12, 13 daytime and night. The daytime period includes a total of 14 runs, and the evening period consists of a total of 12 runs.

He added that in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the winners and sponsors of the Festival will be honored on the second day at the main platform of Al Dhaid Camel Racecourse.
