Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Council Chairman Issa Hilal Al Hazami expressed his pride in the achievements of Sharjah's disabled athletes at the conclusion of Paralympic Day activities on Sunday, March 6, at Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled.

He emphasised his confidence of Sharjah's disabled athletes, who have won numerous cups and medals both locally and internationally, which affirms their devotion to the unlimited support and attention of His Highness Sheikh Dr, Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Dr. Tariq Sultan Bin Khadim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled, attended the event with a number of officials and members of the boards of directors of disabled clubs and sports centres, as well as athletes from disabled clubs throughout the Emirate, representatives from Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, and a number of athletes' parents.
