Sharjah 24: Colonel Dr. Abdelrahman Al Muaini, Secretary General of Emirates Reprographic Rights Management Association (ERRA), stated that the launch of the ERRA indicates the keenness of the UAE towards creative industries, especially the rights of authors and publishers.
He added that the ERRA role is educational in the first stage, in protecting the publisher and the author, particularly in the Emirate of Sharjah, which is the hub of cultural innovations.
In statements to "Sharjah 24", Al Muaini indicated that with regard to publishing, Sharjah International Book Fair is one of the largest international fairs in the world, explaining that there must be an institution that manages creative industries, building an integrated system for managing copyrights in the country, to be a pioneer in the region and the world.
