Sharjah 24: The Preparation of Draft Recommendations Committee (PDRC) in Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) held its meeting at SCC’s headquarters, on Tuesday, to prepare its recommendations regarding the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC). This comes in support of the public policies aimed at supporting ways to improve sports performance in the Emirate of Sharjah and to enable sports and specialised clubs to continue their roles.

The committee discussed the various topics raised by members of the Council during the discussion of the policy of the Sharjah Sports Council, as part of the tenth plenary meeting of the third ordinary session of the tenth legislative term.

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), in the presence of several dignitaries and members.

During its meeting, the committee discussed a number of recommendations in the light of the discussion of the members of the council in the previous plenary session, reviewing the policy of the Sharjah Sports Council and the proposals submitted by the members of the council.

During its preparation of the recommendations, the committee emphasised the empowerment and support of the Sharjah Sports Council and 24 clubs in the Emirate of Sharjah, enhancing the development march in the sports fields.

Concluding the meeting, the attendees approved its draft recommendations, including the SSC’s functions and powers with the clubs of the Emirate of Sharjah, in preparation for presenting them to the Sharjah Consultative Council during its next session for further studying and approval.
