"Islamic Affairs" offers public safety and firefighting training

Sharjah24: In collaboration with the Sharjah General Directorate of Civil Defence, the Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs launched an intensive training programme aimed at qualifying 1,000 employees across the emirate in the fundamentals of public safety, firefighting, and evacuation.

The initiative is part of the department's strategy to implement security and safety procedures and standards, as well as to train and qualify administrative staff and all those who work in Sharjah's mosques, including Imams and Muezzins, on how to deal with emergencies and make the best use of firefighting equipment, public safety, and evacuation.
