Sharjah24: The Central Region Department of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) implemented a number of development projects in the Shaabiyat and the various regions affiliated to the region during 2021 at a cost of 170 million dirhams.
Engineer Khalifa Muhammad Al Tunaiji, Director of the Central Region Department of SEWA, explained that the development projects implemented by the authority in the regions and popular areas in the central region came in implementation of the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Federal Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
He stressed that the authority's strategy pays great attention to providing services for new development projects and developing services in all areas of its work within its current and future plans, in order to keep pace with the steady growth of loads and the movement of urban and population expansion.
He added that the projects were implemented according to a plan and timetable, with high specifications and quality, and using the best equipment and devices, in a way that contributes to providing the best services, meeting the needs of the population, strengthening infrastructure, and developing its facilities.
