Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated Al Dhaid Fort along with several projects adjacent to the fort, including Al Dhaid’s Shari’a Market.
Dr Abdulaziz Al Musallam, President of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH), confirmed that the opening of the Al Dhaid Fort by his Highness the Ruler of Sharjah was a historic event for the city.
Al Musallam explained to "Sharjah24" that the fort was of historical importance as it was a major stop for caravanserais.
