Sharjah24: According to Dr Abdulaziz Al Muhairi, Director-General of the Sharjah Health Authority and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Expansion of Healthy Cities Programme, after meeting all requirements and standards for healthy cities within the regional network of the World Health Organization, Sharjah has been accredited as a healthy city for the second time (the first time was in 2015).
The accreditation was awarded after the delegation visited Sharjah and evaluated files and recorded success stories as well as field visits to various government, semi-government, and private locations and entities in Sharjah.
This worldwide recognition symbolizes the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah who is constantly seeking to make his people happy and provide them with a decent life," Dr Al Muhairi said exclusively to "Sharjah 24."
