Sharjah24: Under the slogan "Heritage and the future"; The 19th edition of Sharjah Heritage Days kicks off in Sharjah, organised by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, from March 10 to 28.
The Municipal Council of Kalba held, on Thursday, headed by His Excellency Dr. Suleiman Sarhan Al Zaabi, a coordination meeting for all government departments, at the Institute’s headquarters in Kalba, to discuss the city’s preparations for the launch of activities March 18.
Ahmed Al Dah, director of projects and heritage properties at the institute, told “Sharjah 24” that consultations are in full swing to finalize the programme plan for the events in the various cities and regions in which the event is scheduled to be organised.
He added that the activities in the Eastern Province start from Dibba Al Hisn on March 14, then Khorfakkan on March 16, and reach their launch in Kalba on the 18th of the same month, for a period of 7 days.
Al Dah explained that a large number of government departments in Kalba will participate in the activities of the Sharjah Heritage Days, which include many heritage and cultural activities that include all environments; Mountain, agricultural, and marine, as well as a children's corner.
