Sharjah 24: Colonel Dr. Ali Al Kai Al Hamoudi, Director of the Eastern Region Police Department, received Khamis Salem Al Suwaidi, Head of Department of Districts and Villages Affairs (DVA) , and Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the Department, in the presence of Colonel Rashid Saif Al Zaabi, Deputy Director of the Eastern Region Police Department, and Abdullah Suleiman Al Kabouri, Director of Councils Affairs Department.
Colonel Al Hamoudi welcomed the visiting delegation, praising the great social role that DVA offers to citizens through their important role in strengthening ties between the people of the same region, and working to facilitate services.
The visit came within the framework of the joint cooperation between DVA and the Eastern Region Police Department, and the appreciation of the role played by the Eastern Region Police in securing the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi assuming the reins in Sharjah, which was held at Khorfakkan Amphitheater, over the course of four days.
His Excellency Khamis Salem Al Suwaidi, Head of DVA, and Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director of the Department, honoured the police officers and personnel involved in maintaining security during the celebration, reiterating their thanks to Sharjah Police General Command and the Eastern Region Police Department for their great efforts in providing many security and community services that contribute to maintaining security and safety in the region.
At the end of the honouring, the Director of the Eastern Region Police Department presented a commemorative shield to His Excellency Khamis Salem Al Suwaidi, Head of DVA.
