Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, and Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, chaired the meeting of the council , which was held on Tuesday, in the office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
The meeting discussed a number of government issues on the development and improving services in all fields in Sharjah , in addition to discussing a number of decisions and laws align with the city’s visions.
Sharjah Executive Council issued a decision regulating the use of agricultural lands in the Emirate of Sharjah. 
The council also issued a decision regarding the formation of the Higher Committee of the Police Force, Security and Safety in the Emirate of Sharjah, headed by the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police and the membership of a number of police leaders in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The council approved the signing of a memorandum of understanding  between the Sharjah Police General Command and Etihad Rail, with the aim of enhancing strategic cooperation between the two parties and achieving common interests through the exchange of expertise and practical experiences and raising the level of security readiness in all fields.

SEC reviewed a presentation presented by Sharjah Sports Council on Sharjah winning the Arab Sports Culture Federation Award in the category of Arab Sports Culture Capital, for sponsoring and organising many sports and cultural activities and tournaments specialised in women's sports.
