Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), has chaired the council’s meeting, Tuesday morning, at the Ruler's Office, in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
The Council discussed several topics on its agenda in line with the vision and the development in the Emirate of Sharjah to serve its citizens and residents.
As part of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to develop infrastructure in the emirate and promote safe transportation, the council approved a number of road development and maintenance projects in the emirate to keep pace with the best security and safety standards and achieve traffic flow.
The Council approved a memorandum of legislative permission to amend Executive Council Resolution No. (22) of 2017 regulating granting home nursing service to bedridden persons in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The Council was briefed on the efforts of Sharjah International Airport in implementing the best international health standards in airport services and facilities, which culminated in the renewal of the airport health accreditation certificate granted to Sharjah International Airport by the Airports Council International.

This accreditation comes after reviewing and evaluating all the standards and requirements set by the Airports Council International, in addition to the efforts of Sharjah International Airport in implementing many initiatives and programmes that enhance safety and provide a safe travel experience for travelers.
