Sharjah 24: Sharjah Education Council (SEC) launched the first initiative for 2022, in line with its objectives, in improving the educational environment, in cooperation with King Abdulaziz University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which aims to improve care and learning in Sharjah governmental nurseries.
The initiative, organised by SEC Early Childhood Department, is one of the fruits of joint cooperation between the Council and one of the reputable universities in the Gulf region, King Abdulaziz University. The initiative aims to benefit from King Abdulaziz University expertise in the educational fields to enhance the Council's orientations towards an educational environment that promotes students in the field of early childhood.
The initiative will continue until next July, within the framework of benefiting from the educational expertise of King Abdulaziz University, and in a way that contributes to achieving its strategic objectives for the Sharjah Education Council to enhance the common vision to achieve the quality of education outcomes, especially in focusing on the importance of preparing skilled professionals.
To reflect the launch of this initiative, which targets all employees of the Early Childhood Administration, the lecture was presented by Prof. Dr. Nahla Kahwaji, Vice Dean of Quality and Academic Accreditation, Professor of Early Childhood Education at King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia. The introductory lecture is the first to be presented remotely and used a scientific methodology to deal with early childhood and promote behaviour directed towards the quality of the educational environment in Sharjah government nurseries.
During the lecture, Prof. Nahla Kahwagi presented the best scientific and applied practices aimed at improving performance levels for the educational process in the field of early childhood and howthey are transferred to professionals.
His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Education Council, stressed the importance of launching such initiative, over gradual stages, with the aim of providing Early Childhood Department professionals with modern scientific experiences and practices aimed at raising the quality of care and learning services provided in Sharjah government nurseries.
His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla pointed the importance of cooperation with King Abdulaziz University, which reflects SEC continuous orientation towards building strategic partnerships with specialised educational institutions in order to cooperate in areas of common interest to build bridges of communication, and to achieve the goals of SEC Early Childhood Department in implementing the care and learning project in Sharjah governmental nurseries, in cooperation with King Abdulaziz University.
