Sharjah24: The supervising committee of the participation of Al Thiqah Club for Handicapped (ATCH) in the rationalisation Competition, held its periodic meeting to discuss the Club’s preparations and its best practices in order to participate in the competition held under the slogan “I am an athlete and a guide” under the auspices of the Sharjah Sports Council.
During the meetings, the committee discussed the implementation of the Club’s strategic plan, with the aim of achieving the environmental sustainability and consolidating the values of the importance of energy as a vital element, promoting rationalise consumption and reduce financial burdens on the government, as well as spreading public awareness for members with disabilities about the benefits of applying best practices to rationalise water and electricity resources, urging the sports community to adopt environmental conservation and energy efficiency strategies.
For his part, Ahmed Salem Hamad Al Mazloum, Executive Director of Al Thiqah Club, confirmed the Club’s keenness to form a working team in order to supervise the various axes of the rationalization competition, being held under the auspices of the Sharjah Council to achieve the program’s goal in spreading awareness of the importance of rationalisation.
