Sharjah 24: Under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the 7th Sharjah International Cycling 2022, is held, over a period of 5 days, from January 28 to February 1.

Abdul Malik Muhammad Jani, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee of the Tour, confirmed that the Sharjah International Cycling Tour comes under the patronage of the Ruler of Sharjah and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council.  

Abdul Malik Muhammad Jani added that Sharjah International Cycling Tour aims to highlight the landmarks and tourist areas in Sharjah, including Al Suhub Rest Area in Khorfakkan, Al Badayer Oasis Resort, the Martyrs' Monument in Sharjah University City, and many more.

Speaking exclusively to "Sharjah 24", Abdul Malik Muhammad Jani said that the tour is accompanied by the Youth Tour, the Cyclists' Skills category, and the People of Determination category, whereas this tour will be in 5 stages, for a distance of 438,8 km, with the participation of 144 cyclists representing 16 teams and 8 international leagues.

Abdul Malik Muhammad Jani, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee of the Tour, concluded by thanking the participating countries, institutions and entities that support the continuity of the seventh Sharjah International Cycling Tour 2022, in light of the Corona pandemic.
