Sharjah24: The Municipal Council of Al Batayeh region headed by His Excellency Muhammad Abdullah bin Halis Al-Ketbi stresses the diversity of initiatives and goals of the Al Batayeh Folk Festival in its fourth edition, highlighting on the most important strategic objectives of the festival is the humanitarian and volunteer work initiative.
The Municipal Council, Al Batayeh Municipality, the Volunteer Baraem team in Al-Bataeh area and His Excellency Ambassador Fathi Jabr Afana, Ambassador of the Arab Family Organisation, sponsor of the Humanitarian and Volunteer Day, launched this humanitarian initiative in strategic partnership with Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services. The initiative aims to consolidate the principles and values of humanitarian work by hosting the city’s students on a day dedicated Humanitarian work in order to bring joy to their hearts and integrate them into society
His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Al Batayeh District, stated that we are in the process of coordinating with Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services to sign a memorandum of cooperation with the city, which will be announced soon, aiming to purchase the products of the city’s students, in support of their outstanding production and the continuation of their creativity in various fields, praising the efforts of Sheikha Jamila bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, President of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, for its continuous efforts and great giving to the city and its students.
The Volunteering Baraem initiative was launched under the auspices of the Al Batayeh Municipal Council. This initiative, which is part of the Al Batayeh Folk Festival initiatives, aims to form a volunteer Baraem team from the people of Al Batayeh area from the age of 3 to 12 years, including boys and girls. A training program is being conducted for the volunteer Baraem team in order to instill a culture of volunteering.
