“Aman Ya Beladi” discusses road safety on roadways

Sharjah 24: "Aman, My Country" which is prepared and presented by the Department of Media and Public Relations of the Sharjah Police General Command, and broadcast live on Sharjah Radio, every Monday morning, discussed a number of topics, where the participating guests about the negative impact of motorcycles that do not comply with security and safety regulations on roadways.
The guest of the programme, Colonel Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, Director of the Central Region Police Department, talked about the security role played by the leadership and the exerted efforts to enhance security and safety, through annual traffic security plans reflected by traffic and awareness campaigns.  Colonel Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi called on members of the public, to adhere to the instructions and directions of the security authorities in order to preserve their security and safety, and report any practices or behaviours that threaten their security and safety.

The programme included phone interventions, in which Lieutenant-Colonel Mohammed Ali bin Haider, Acting Head of the Buhaira Comprehensive Police Station, spoke about the success of the security campaign that was organised in November 2021, and monitored approximately 450 motorcycles of various types. 

Hayat Al Ali, Head of Programmes and Activities Department at the Sharjah Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA), spoke about the EPAA role in preserving and protecting the environment, and raising awareness on the importance of preserving the environment and wilderness areas.
