Sharjah 24: In the context of strengthening cooperation between the Sharjah Social Security Fund (SSSF) and Emirates Retirees Association (ERA), His Excellency Mohammed Obaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Director General of the Fund, received a delegation from the Emirates Retirees Association headed by His Excellency Obaid Hadid Al Khamisi, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The meeting was held at SSSF headquarters in Sharjah and was attended by the Vice-President of Emirates Retirees Association and a number of members of the Board of Directors, in addition to a number of directors of the Fund departments.
His Excellency Mohammed Obaid Rashid Al Shamsi welcomed the delegation of the Association and praised the continuous efforts in providing services that enhance the presence of retirees in the society and benefit from their experiences.
His Excellency Mohammed Obaid Rashid Al Shamsi stressed that the SSSF welcomes cooperation with all governmental and civil institutions, including the Emirates Retirees Association, pointing out that SSSF welcomes the visit, which will open up horizons of joint cooperation to achieve common goals.
Al Shamsi explained during the meeting that SSSF works according to the visions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide a decent life for citizens, therefore, the Fund works in partnership with all concerned institutions to unite the common national goal to improve the quality of life for the present generations and retirees.
His Excellency Obaid Hadid Al Khamisi praised the vision and efforts of SSSF in the Emirate of Sharjah in accordance with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to take care of the retired citizens, which is integrated with the vision of the Association in the same context.
His Excellency Obaid Hadid Al Khamisi explained that SSSF acts as an insurance umbrella serving the insured segment. He pointed out that the Emirates Retirees Association is fully prepared to cooperate and coordinate with the Sharjah Social Security Fund to achieve the common vision of both sides in serving the retired segment.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides discussed plans to open horizons of joint cooperation and organising joint initiatives and actions to achieve higher goals.
