Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, met Tuesday, with Sultan Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD).

The meeting discussed many topics related to media activities in the emirate, the procedures for licensing and following up their performance in accordance with legal legislation and social principles, and the mechanism for monitoring the content of media and cinematic shows in various media outlets.

The meeting also included a discussion of the challenges facing media activities in the Emirate of Sharjah, and ways to support them to continue presenting the leading media image and constructive content that develops the family and community members.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Khaled Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Media City (Shams), Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of Sharjah Government Media Bureau, and Hassan Yaqoub Al Mansouri, Secretary General of the Sharjah Media Council.
