Sharjah24: The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) announced that the completion of the construction works at Al Mawrada 2 Mosque in Sharjah has reached 66%, and the construction of the mosque is being conducted on an area of 411 square meters, at a cost of two million and 150 thousand dirhams, to be added to the list of mosques that were established during the past years in all regions of the Emirate of Sharjah in coordination with the Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah.
Engineer Mohammed Ahmed Al Mahmoud, Acting Director of the Engineering Affairs Office, stated that construction operations in the mosque are continuing to be handed over to the Islamic Affairs Department in Sharjah, noting that the mosque can accommodate up to 230 worshipers and includes a number of facilities represented in the women’s pray room, the imam’s residence , in addition to parking lots spaces.
Al-Mahmoud pointed out that Al Mawrada mosque is one of the mosques that have been implemented inside the country in coordination and cooperation with the competent authorities, and from this standpoint, we call on donors and benefactors to continue their support for charitable projects with any donation value, and we at the SIC pledge to invest these simple donations in establishing and supporting projects, as well as the noble attitudes of the benefactors in their initiative to support charitable works and continuous initiatives throughout the year.
