She expressed her thanks to the SCI’s Chairman, Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, and the members of the Board of Directors and all those in charge for their development and relief projects in many countries around the world, especially the Republic of Niger.
This came during a meeting at her place of stay in Dubai, with a delegation from the SCI that included Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of SCI, Abdullah Saif bin Hindi, Head of Communications and Marketing, and Marwan Mohammed, Acting Director of the Executive Management.
The meeting reviewed means of strengthening cooperation frameworks in relation to the projects implemented by the SCI in remote areas of Niger, which enhances SCI’s role in raising the standard of living for low-income groups and supporting workers to enable them to be self-reliant.
Abdullah bin Khadim stressed that the SCI attaches great importance to development and health projects in African countries, and from this standpoint, it continuously seeks to enhance humanitarian roles through projects that touch the main needs of the population in different regions of the Republic of Niger.
He added that the SCI launched various campaigns and projects, including the campaign against eyes disease, and the distribution of a vaccine against meningitis, in addition to distributing medicines and treatment for patients with the deadly “Ebola” epidemic.
