SCI receives best Arab charity performance prize

SCI launches first phase of aid for Bangladesh flood victims

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) received the first place prize out of 23 participating institutions from 11 countries as the best charity performance in the Arab world in its second edition, organised by the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Foundation for Humanitarian Development in cooperation with the Arab Administrative Development Organization of the League of Arab States.
Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charity International (SCI), praised the great and continuous support provided by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah to the SCI, which prompted it to continue its humanitarian efforts.

Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi highlighted the role of the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Foundation for Humanitarian Development, which, through this prize, aspires to encourage institutions to advance their humanitarian roles in order to achieve their goals efficiently and effectively, adding that the prize is an appreciation for efforts in the field of relief and humanitarian work.

For his part, His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director of the SCI, said that the prize represents the fruit of the contributions of benefactors, which carried a lofty humanitarian message that expresses the values of the UAE society with its citizens and residents.

He noted the amount of work done by the SCI during the pandemic exceeded 243 million dirhams, which included a large package of projects.
