SPGC intensifies traffic campaigns against violating vehicles

Sharjah 24: Based on the keenness of Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC) to enhance road safety and security in the Emirate of Sharjah, and in continuation of the campaign launched by the Buhaira Comprehensive Police Station in cooperation with Sharjah Municipality during the month of November, which lasted for three weeks, Lieutenant-Colonel Mohammed Ali bin Haider, Acting Head of the Buhaira Comprehensive Police Station, revealed that the campaign resulted in seizing a total of 450 bikes, 148 motorcycles, 279 bicycles, and 23 electric scooters.
Lieutenant-Colonel Mohammed bin Haider indicated that the most prominent violations were bikes running in the places and roads designated for vehicles, which results in serious consequences.

The Acting Head of the Buhaira Comprehensive Police Station said that the General Command of Sharjah Police seeks to preserve the safety of drivers, in line with the Ministry of Interior's strategy aimed at making roads safer.
