SCFD launches "Tahseel" digital card

Sharjah24: Sharjah Central Finance Department (SCFD) announced the launch of a "Tahseel" digital card, which allows customers to pay fees for various government agencies in the Emirate of Sharjah, in a safe, easy and fast manner, and is characterized by digital way and global technologies, in line with the emirate's digital transformation strategy.
The "Tahseel" system is a comprehensive platform for processing digital financial payments in real time, which provides new and innovative ways to pay transaction fees and services to the Government of Sharjah, and to meet the special needs of the Sharjah Central Finance Department and its government partners.

Huda Al Yasi, Director of the Financial System Department at SCFD, said: "The launch of "Tahseel" digital card comes within the framework of the department's keenness to improve and develop the system of services provided to customers, in line with the latest global technical developments, and at the same time contribute to enhancing the efficiency of the systems, the smart and digital finance of the Government of Sharjah, and supports the government's efforts in achieving sustainable financial resources.

The new digital "Tahseel" card contains a microprocessor and is secure, and allows downloading and running many applications at the same time, and it supports known methods of communication, either by contact or contactless, according to international standards for digital payment cards. The card is subject to approved global standards for reliable and secure data transfer, among many other specifications.
