Sharjah 24: The Preparation of Draft Recommendations Committee in Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) prepared, during its meeting, the recommendations that will be submitted to the council during its next session about the recommendations of discussing the policy of the Sharjah Seaports, Customs & Free Zones Authority, SSCFZA.
The committee discussed various areas submitted by the council members, during discussing the SSCFZA's policy, as part of the fifth plenary session of the third regular session of the tenth legislative term.

The meeting, which was held in Kalba at Al Hafiya Center, was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al Darmaki, Chairman of the Recommendations Committee of the Sharjah Consultative Council, in the presence of several dignitaries.

Concluding the meeting, the attendees formulated a number of recommendations about the SSCFZA’s policy, reviewing the most important points raised by the Council’s members. 

The attendees highlighted the remarkable role of the Sharjah Consultative Council to support the Sharjah Seaports, Customs & Free Zones Authority, and enhance its work system, contributing in supporting the national economy; attracting investors; and rehabilitating the Authority’s capabilities to increase the movement of ships at its ports, with using modern technology.

At the end of the meeting, the Draft Recommendations Committee decided to formulate the recommendations that promote the Authority’s work, tasks and competencies, in preparation for submitting them to the Sharjah Consultative Council at its next session for further study and approval.
