Sharjah Police honours winners of "Good Student" Award

Sharjah 24: Brigadier Abdullah Ibrahim bin Nassar, Deputy Director General of Resources and Support Services at Sharjah Police, honoured 5 students for receiving the "Good Student" award, in the presence of Dr. Muhadtha Al Hashemi, Chairman of the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), Ali Ahmed Al Hosani, Director of SPEA, and Lt. Col. Dr. Ruqayya Jassim Mohammed, Director of the Social Support Centre, and First Lieutenant Ghanima Issa, and a number of distinguished professors and students.
Social Support Centre at Sharjah Police launched the initiative, which targeted school students who are committed to the behavioural and ethical aspects during the scholastic year, in line with the aspirations and visions of Sharjah Police to limit the spread of negative phenomena and behaviours in society in general, and the school community in particular.

In a speech delivered by Brigadier General bin Nassar, he stressed the societal role played by educational and security institutions in promoting community awareness, through the various initiatives organised in cooperation with the General Command of Sharjah Police, which contribute to enhancing the quality of life in the school community and encouraging positive relations among students, and consolidating positive societal behaviours, and educating students about the dangers of negative behaviours, especially bullying.

Brigadier Bin Nassar extended thanks and appreciation to the educational staff for their unlimited support for the distinguished students in the scientific and behavioural aspects, encouraging them to exert more effort during their next path.

He also congratulated all the students who were honoured, wishing them continued success.
