Sharjah 24: On Monday, the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) hosted a commemoration of the Union's fiftieth anniversary at the council's headquarters, which featured many events in the presence of Council's members.
Ali Mehad Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the SCC, conveyed sincere congratulations and best wishes to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his brothers, Rulers of the Emirates, on the occasion of the Union's 50th anniversary.
Al Suwaidi expressed gratitude to the Union's accomplishments for what the country's people currently enjoy, saying, "This gives us pride and dignity since we live in this country with security, safety, tolerance, and peace."
