Sharjah border crossing points celebrate UAE 50th National Day

Sharjah 24: The Khatam Milaha border port, operated by the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, commemorated the UAE's 50th National Day. The celebration featured a variety of national events and activities to mark this momentous anniversary and to highlight the sense of patriotism and belonging to the state, as well as the smart leadership.
Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raisi, Director of Ports and Border Points Affairs in Sharjah,  the Chairman of the Sharjah Ports and Border Points Committee; Yasser Ali Al Shehhi, Director of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security's East Coast Office; Lt. Colonel Dr Faisal Al Naqbi, Acting Head of the External Areas Ports Police Department; and Mubarak Al Ketbi, Operations Manager at "Tumuh" Healthcare, were present, along with a number of officers.

From Oman, the celebration was attended by Lt. Col. Ali bin Marhoon Al Hashimi, Director of the Detention Department in North Al Batinah, and Lt. Col. Muhammad bin Saif Al Rajhi, Director of Sohar Port Customs.

On the occasion of the 50th UAE National Day, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raisi extended his heartfelt greetings and blessings to the wise leadership and people of the UAE, praying to God Almighty to protect the UAE's leadership and people and to ensure safety and growth at all levels. He emphasised that the 50th National Day has reawakened pride in the UAE's inhabitants and residents for the country's accomplishments over the last decades.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Raisi commended all those involved in planning the festivities, events, and activities for their efforts and contributions to the success of this momentous occasion.
