Sharjah24: The Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah met with Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, member of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, with the aim of discussing the various works of the authority and its roles in developing the business sector.
The committee's visit came at the beginning of its work for the third regular session of the tenth legislative term, as part of its preparations to discuss the authority's policy in the next session within the work of the Sharjah Consultative Council.
Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi praised the efforts of the Sharjah Consultative Council and the Financial, Industrial and Economic Affairs Committee to ensure the development of the work mechanism in all parties, to achieve a great return in the performance of institutions and to meet the needs of all members of society.
The Authority's constructive contributions to the development of business, services and infrastructure in seaports, customs centers, ports, border points and their free zones, using the optimal use of technical and human resources, and providing all services and facilitating them for customers and investors, was reviewed.
