Sharjah24: Al Hamriyah Municipality (AHM) organised the celebrations of Al Hamriyah region in celebration of the 50th UAE National Day and the country's golden jubilee of the Union, through a number of events, programs, national activities and competitions, reflecting the most wonderful feelings of loyalty, belonging and cohesion of the people of the Emirates around the wise leadership, with a wide participation of the people of Al Hamriyah, as well as the government departments and institutions.
Under the supervision of the Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee, and in cooperation with the Municipal Council of Al Hamriyah Region and the Council of Al Hamriyah Region, the Municipality of Al Hamriyah was keen to ensure the variety of the activities and programs during the celebration.
The ceremony, which included several different national programs and activities, was attended by His Excellency Humaid Saif bin Samha Al Shamsi, Chairman of Al Hamriyah Municipality Council, His Excellency Saif Obaid Bouvier Al Shamsi, Chairman of Al Hamriyah Council, His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, members of the Municipal Council and Al Hamriyah District Council, a crowd of Al Hamriyah noble people, directors of departments and the people of Al Hamriyah.
For his part, His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, stated that the celebration programs for the 50th National Day were marked to ensure the interaction of different societal groups, stressing Al Hamriyah people’s keenness to participate in the national ceremony annually, expressing thanks and gratitude to Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee, lauding their efforts in organising and managing the celebrations of the Emirate of Sharjah on this precious occasion.
Al Shamsi extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, his Deputy and Crown Prince, his brothers the rulers of the Emirates, and His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Union.
