Sharjah24: Al Hamriyah Suburb Council affiliated to Sharjah District and Village Affairs Department, in cooperation with the Municipal Council, Al Hamriyah Municipality and Sharjah Social Services Department, organised the "50th Forum between the Past and Present for Senior Citizens".
The forum was organised in coinciding with the UAE National Day celebrations aimed at shedding light between the past and present, and to show the achievements of the country in various fields.
The forum was attended by Saif Obaid Saif Bouvier Al Shamsi, Chairman of Al Hamriyah Suburb Council; Humaid Ali Obaid bin Khalaf Al Ali, Vice President, members of the Municipal Council of Al Hamriyah and members of Al Hamriyah District Council.
Saif Obaid Saif Al Shamsi, Chairman of Al Hamriyah Council, stated that the 50th forum between the past and present for senior citizens came with the aim of transferring the experiences of the elderly to the younger generation, in a session to talk about the past and present of the UAE and the great transformation witnessed during decades.
