Sharjah24: The celebration of Dibba Al Hisn on the 50th National Day attracted thousands of citizens in a demonstration of love that toured the city in a foot march that started from Al Aqd Al Farid Street to Al Alam Square.
The celebration was witnessed by Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler’s Office in Kalba, His Excellency Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, Head of the Suburbs and Villages Affairs Department in the Government of Sharjah, Ahmed Sultan Al Dhahouri, Vice President of the Municipal Council of Dibba Al Hisn City, Talib Safar, the Municipality Director, and a crowd of officials.
Wafaa Al Ghoul, Director of the Office of the Department of Culture, and general coordinator of the event, said in statements to “Sharjah 24” that the celebration included a popular foot march and mass rallies in cars to reach the ceremony site.
She added that the celebration included many paragraphs; Including the Emirates Balloon, poetic paragraphs, folklore, the evening of Al Wasmia and the artist Khalifa Al Weshahi, an operetta prepared by the Student Parents’ Council, in addition to the Fifty Bazaar for productive families.
