In light of the preparations for the launch of the 13th new season, Munishid Sharjah returns to present new singing voices. The programme follows the new voices since they go through performance tests, in a number of Arab countries and online, until the contestants' journey to Sharjah.
Munshid Sharjah tells the success stories achieved by innovators in the art of chanting, who participated in the programme seasons and shared the joy of winning with their families, the programme's team and the audience in the UAE, as well as in the contestants’ countries.
Rashid Abdullah Al Obed, Director of Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, said that since the launch of Munshid Sharjah, the programme team has worked to inspire the vision that embodies the directions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his keenness to include Sharjah Cultural Project in all activities, by looking at the heritage of singing as one of the living arts.
Najm Al Din Hashem, the executive producer of the programme, said that Munshid Sharjah, over 15 years, turned into an inspiring experience for talented vocalists, who found in the programme and archive a whole rich academy where many singers graduated, some of whom began their first steps in the world of singing with Munshid Sharjah.
Najm Al Din Hashem added that singers were very young, and now they have become stars and judges who test applicants to participate in the programme.
Najm Al Din Hashem stated that Munshid Sharjah has gained fame and importance by relying on the previous sessions, which achieved great public success, and attracted new talents every year, as it was able to present stars from different countries of the Arab world, in addition to singers who participated from other countries such as France, Belgium, Italy, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Turkey.
