Sharjah24: After the resounding success in organising the Gulf Beach Sprint Championship, attention is now turning to Hamriyah Beach again to continue intensive preparations for the success of the Arab Beach Sprint Championship, which will start on Thursday, November 25, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
Sharjah Sports Council and Al Hamriyah Sports Club are working together with all the championship partners from local and international bodies to accelerate the pace in order to provide all capabilities and equipment to reach the full mark in organising this major event, which is being held in its first edition on the land of the Emirate of Sharjah in the Hamriyah region.
Juma Obaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Hamriyah Sports Club Council and Vice Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Arab Beach Rowing Championship, revealed that the Supreme Committee headed by Abdul Malik Jani and members of the Supreme Committee and all partners and organizational teams continue day and night in order to host the Arab Championship in a manner that suits the position of the sports state and the Emirate of Sharjah in organizing events and tournaments.
He explained that the Arab Beach Sprint Championship, which is expected to be attended by fifteen Arab countries, will represent a state platform for the sports challenge, especially in the atmosphere of recovery witnessed by the UAE and the return of sports activities and international competitions.
