Al Musallam: Russian Week introduces northern culture

Sharjah 24: According to Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, the Russian Heritage Week focuses on the northern region, which is home to a variety of cultures representing nations such as Hungary and Finland.
Al Musallam stated in an exclusive statement to "Sharjah 24" that what distinguishes this region is its cultural diversity, as well as the use of wood, carpentry, and non-nail or adhesive construction methods for buildings up to three storey-high, adding that the photo gallery demonstrates for this wooden architecture.
