Sharjah24: Brigadier Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, inaugurated, on Monday, at the new Khorfakkan beach, the awareness platform to confront the drugs.
In an exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24” on the sidelines of the inaugurating of the platform, he stated that the drugs is a nightmare of the society and government agencies, which forced Sharjah Police to intensify its awareness campaigns about the risk of this issue.
He added that the family has a duty and responsibility that is not less important than the duty of the competent authorities to preserve society and protect its children from falling into the drugs.
Bin Amer urged public to visit the awareness platform in Khorfakkan to raise their awareness of the harms of drugs, ways to confront them, and the ways of assistance provided by Sharjah Police.
