Sharjah 24: The Consultative Council of Sharjah, in its draft recommendations, approved more accelerators in the processes and procedures of replacement and Emiratisation in the departments and authorities of the Sharjah government. The Consultative Council of Sharjah called the private sector to employ citizens in the workforce.
The decision was taken during the third session of the Consultative Council of Sharjah, held on Thursday morning as part of the Council work for the third ordinary session of the tenth legislative term, headed by His Excellency Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC).
At the beginning of the session, His Excellency Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of SCC congratulated the Consultative Council, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah on the occasion of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) leading book fairs around the world in buying and selling publication rights, which is a great achievement as the result of years of hard work and efforts.
Members of the Council discussed the provisions of the recommendations and tackled a number of important topics of the recommendations, such as the call for part-time work for female workers; supporting efforts made towards accomodating job seekers while developing plans for Emiratisation for specialised, professional and technical jobs; and encouraging the private sector to attract citizens in all fields; and other recommendations taken by the members.
At the conclusion of the discussions, the members approved recommendations regarding discussing the policy of the Human Resources Department, and His Excellency Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, the Secretary-General of SCC, announced that the next session, will be held on Thursday, November 25, 2021, discussing the policy of Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority.
