Sharjah24: Dr Mani Bounaama, Director of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage Content and Publication Department, explained that the institute's platform at the Sharjah International Book Fair achieved great turnout and reluctance from the public.
Bounaama revealed 25 new publications of the institute in various fields of cultural heritage, during the 40th session of the Sharjah International Book Fair, at the Expo Center Sharjah.
Bounaama added, in statements to "Sharjah 24", that Sharjah Institute for Heritage emphasises, through this participation, the role of writers and the publishing industry in the UAE and its importance and position in line with the emirate's cultural vision, which aims to bring the book to a prominent position in international forums.
He stressed that the institute is trying, through its platform, to introduce the importance of the heritage book as the book that presents popular knowledge.
