Sharjah24: His Excellency Dr. Abdul Razzaq Bani Rashid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, revealed an agenda full of competitions that the club is organising and participating in during the next few period at the local and international levels.
He added, in statements to “Sharjah 24”, that the club's competitions, after the resumption of sports activities, began, on Saturday, by hosting the first gathering of powerlifting at the local level, and the club is also participating with 3 players within the UAE team's mission in the World Powerlifting Championship in Georgia, 24th this month.
Bani Rasheed revealed the preparations for the Asian Junior Championships, in which the club will participate in the team's delegation with about 52 male and female players, which is scheduled to start on November 27.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled explained that work is underway to prepare for the third edition of the West Asian Championship for the Disabled, which will be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain and will start on February 17 next year, with the participation of more than 120 male and female players.
