Sharjah 24: The Training Department at the Sharjah Police Sciences Academy (SPA) concluded the specialised shooting programme, organised over two weeks with the participation of a number of officers and non-commissioned officers from the Ministry of Interior (MOI) in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Brigadier General Dr. Mohammed Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of the Scientific Council of SPA, during his meeting with the programme’s affiliates, stressed the depth and strength of the bilateral relations between the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the leadership and peoples of both nations. 

Brigadier General Al Othmani confirmed that such training programmes are the results of these brotherly relations, and they aim to exchange practical experiences and best practices in all fields of security work.

During the training period, SPA employed all expertise and facilities at the service of the trainees, and was keen to provide them with the required skills; allocate highly qualified and skilled shooting instructors; enable smart and advanced fields in the Police Training Institute in Hadera and SPA headquarters, to serve the training purposes. 

During the graduation ceremony, Brigadier General Al Othmani praised the training programme and organisers, as well as the skills and capabilities of the Bahraini officers, stressing that cooperation between SPSA and the Bahraini Ministry of Interior is moving forward with the aim of strengthening and consolidating security and stability for the GCC citizens and residents.

At the conclusion of the graduation ceremony, Brigadier General Dr. Mohammed Khamis Al Othmani, accompanied by Lt. Col. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Naqbi, Director of the Competency Development Department, and Lt. Col. Ahmed Al Owais, Deputy Director of the Training Department, handed over certificates to the graduates, and a shield to members of the Bahraini delegation.
