SAM celebrates Flag Day in Souq Al Jubail

Sharjah24: Sharjah Asset Management Holding, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, and the employees of all its companies and its markets celebrated, Tuesday, the Flag Day, in a special event on this national occasion, organized in Souq Al Jubail, one of the company’s main projects, in order to promote the national identity and an expression of loyalty to the wise leadership.
Saeed Sharar, COO of Osool Services at Sharjah Asset Management Company, stressed that the Flag Day embodies the strength of unity that resulted in a country that has become referred to in all fields, bringing together under its shade the people of the Emirates, uniting them on one vision and common goals that enhance for them stability and prosperity.

Sharar also pointed out that the UAE flag is part of its national identity, and a symbol that is becoming more rooted and more visible by the day in the heart of every citizen who feels the depth of belonging to this nation, whose ambitions transcended the sky, and extended its reach to brotherly and friendly countries, and became one of the best countries in the world in its fiftieth year.

To the sound of the national anthem, Saeed Sharar and the leaders of sister and subsidiary companies raised the flag of the United Arab Emirates on the mast of Souq Al Jubail, while a number of employees distributed flags and gifts to participants in the event and visitors to the market.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, had approved the celebration of Flag Day as an annual national occasion, starting from November 2013, coinciding with the anniversary of the accession of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God protect him, as President of the UAE on November 3 of each year.
