Sharjah 24: Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiya Council (AKSC), and Vice Chairman Muhammad Rashid bin Jarsh hoisted the UAE flag in front of the Council's Sharjah headquarters.
All members of the Council, as well as members of the Women's Committee and a number of citizens and residents, attended the celebration.
The Chairman and members of the Khalidiya Suburb Council stressed the significance of Flag Day, which represents the sense of belonging to the nation and its wise leadership, as well as loyalty to the values of the Union's founding fathers.
