Sharjah 24: A report received by the Central Operations Room of the Sharjah Police, which asserted to have seen harmful behaviour and reckless driving at speeds well above the speed limit had led to the arrest of four reckless drivers, who caused traffic chaos, endangered their own lives as well as the lives of others, and put other road users in danger.
The Sharjah Police's traffic tracking systems and smart cameras have helped track down violators, identify them, and pinpoint their exact location so that they can be reported to the appropriate authorities for legal action.
Sharjah Police emphasises zero tolerance for traffic regulations violators, reckless driving, and any other dangerous behaviour that endangers the lives of road users, and urges drivers to adhere to the prescribed speeds on internal and external roads of the emirate. Speed is a key cause of many accidents, resulting in loss of life and property, so everyone should follow traffic signals and respect traffic laws.
