SP, strategic partners discuss enhancing security, tourism areas

Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, received several officials at the Leadership Hall of the Sharjah Police Officers Club.
Major General Al Shamsi welcomed Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Sheikh Salem bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, and Mohammed Ahmed Al Kuwaiti, Director General of the Public Authority for Ports, Borders and Free Zones Security, Mubarak Khalifa Al Ghafli, Director of the National Centre for Early Inquiry, a number of directors and heads of departments.

Welcoming his guests, Major General Saif Al Shamsi stressed that the visit, which comes within the framework of the continuous fruitful cooperation between the Sharjah Police and all the various institutions and bodies in the country, reflects aspects of cooperation that enhance all aspects of life in society.

The meeting discussed a number of topics aimed at enhancing the quality of life for the UAE society, in a way that achieves the desired goals for both sides. Several other issues related to ports and borders security, concerted efforts in the field of tourism, which would contribute to strengthening the position of the Emirate of Sharjah as an ideal destination for tourism and business, were also discussed during the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Major General Al Shamsi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the strategic partners, praising their efforts to enhance joint cooperation in achieving the security and stability of society.
