Sharjah24 : The Sharjah Education Council (SEC) approved works of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence in its twenty-eighth edition to continue its journey in serving the educational field within its development policies and ambitious timetable.
Accordingly, the award revealed its agenda by addressing ministries, educational authorities and departments to nominate their coordinators for the award.
According to the agenda, a press conference will be held to announce the launch of the twenty-eighth edition on 21 of April, to be followed by introductory workshops, which will continue until September.
His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Education Council, affirmed that in light of the council’s follow-up to developments in the educational field and the award’s continuous efforts to develop its performance system to achieve its goals in supporting the tributaries of education and motivating the distinguished, the council decided to launch the twenty eighth edition next April; with the aim of keeping pace with the return to the face-to-face education, and working on developing the award.
Al-Mulla affirmed that the award has continued its march over the past two years during Covid-19 pandemic, through which the nomination applications were submitted electronically. He emphasised that the system of receiving the applications will be the same in the upcoming season of the award.
