Sharjah 24: To facilitate its customers and achieve the general strategy of digital transformation in the Emirate, the Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) recently launched the digital wallet "Tahseel Pay", which can be used by individuals and companies as an easy and secure way to pay through digital platforms, such as digital portals and smart phone applications as an alternative to payment by cash or plastic credit cards.
This wallet facilitates the conduct of all financial transactions related to the smart receipt system "Tahseel", which is applied in all Sharjah government departments and many semi-governmental and private departments in the Emirate. The customer can pay the transaction fees electronically using the funds deposited in the "Tahseel" account or stored credit cards.
Huda Al Yasi, Director of the Financial System Department at SFD , said that in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and to achieve the Emirate's digital transformation strategy, SFD is constantly working on updating and developing its services in order to facilitate customers, and enable them to complete their transactions through the “Tahseel” system with ease, speed and safety.
She pointed out that the new "Tahseel Pay" service includes the account holders’ data, their credit card information, and payment information in one place. In addition to the stored money that the users added to the wallet by depositing money in the wallet at any of the approved charging centres or from a direct transfer from their bank account to their digital wallet.
