Sharjah 24: Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) recently organised the second virtual financial forum for the year 2021, in the presence of more than 200 people from various government and independent entities.
The forum covered how to activate the Emirates ID card at Sharjah Islamic Bank ATMs, information security, and the new documentary cycle of the supplier portal "Contracts Cycle," as well as an overview of the fifth edition of the Financial Performance Excellence Award.

Meera Al Suwaidi, Head of Financial Systems and Smart Applications Department, Bader Al Zyoud, Information Security and Risk Management Specialist, Ghanem Al Shamsi, Principal Contracts Officer, and Nasser Kashwani, Secretary General of the Financial Performance Excellence Award, all spoke at the forum.

"We are keen in the department to organise this forum continuously," Huda Al Yasi, Director of the Financial System Department at the Finance Department, said. "It came in its second edition for the current year 2021, virtually, to integrate with and add to the first edition. These important forums come in compliance with the directives and instructions of the Sharjah government. And in the interest of the participants' and their safety, given the ramifications of the current exceptional circumstances surrounding COVI
D-19.”

The Sharjah Finance Department is working to achieve a number of strategic goals, including managing, developing, and providing cash liquidity, developing the performance budget system, implementing integrated and effective financial policies, creating a global model in public finance, enabling digital transformation, and providing high-quality services, as well as strengthening the in-house financial system.
