Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, stressed the importance of achieving security indicators and raising the level of police work to accomplish the UAE Vision 2021 that contribute to advancing the efforts exerted in line with the objectives of the Ministry of Interior and the aspirations of the wise leadership.
This came during a meeting of the Eastern Region Police Department (ERPD) at Sharjah Police, in the presence of Colonel Dr. Ali Al Kai Al Hamoudi, Director of the Eastern Region Police Department (ERPD) and heads of centres and departments, which was held in the Fazaa meeting room at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The meeting discussed the results of initiatives and indicators, during the third quarter, of ERPD that support indicators Sharjah Police and the Ministry of Interior's strategy to enhance security and safety and achieve quality of life for the UAE community.
The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police was briefed on the "Mubasher" service initiative and the implementation of the "Field Investigator" proposal.
The meeting also reviewed indicators of response time and efforts made during tropical storm "Shaheen", stressing the importance of introducing pioneering initiatives and projects that enhance community security.
Major General Al Shamsi praised the efforts of Sharjah Police personnel in their ongoing confrontation in the global event, Expo 2020 Dubai, which contributes to supporting the Ministry of Interior system for the success of the international event and presenting an honourable image of the UAE, and the acquisition of various experiences and knowledge.
At the end of the meeting, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, honoured a number of officers in ERPD within the employee incentive programme, for their excellence in work, efficiency and dedication to duty.
